Indications
Hydrofilm® is indicated for: use as a protective layer over the wound to reduce the risk of secondary infection; protection against physical damage on dry, primary healing wounds and nearly healed epithelial wounds; securing catheters or cannula; use as a secondary dressing, e.g., to cover primary wound dressings.

Self-adhesive transparent film dressing; made of a semi-permeable polyurethane film which is impermeable to germs and waterproof; with hypoallergenic adhesive, it can be removed without wound irritation.

As protection from secondary infections and from physical irritants in dry, primary healing wounds, in almost healed epithelial wounds and for securing catheters and cannulas; perfect for covering gel forming calcium alginate dressings, such as Sorbalgon.

Warnings and Precautions
Hydrofilm® should not be used as a primary dressing on clinically infected, bleeding or heavily secreting wounds.
