EU Member States planting of genetically modified crops
The European Parliament recently passed laws allowing the approval of EU member states on their own, to prohibit or restrict the cultivation of genetically modified crops in their territory. The decree will be submitted to the Council of Europe. Once approved by the Council, the Act will come into effect this spring.
